Spice and Wolf: MERCHANT MEETS THE WISE WOLF Ep. 20 "Church girl and miller boy" visual episode.
Jū Ayakura is very good at making Elsa look dissatisfied.

Honestly, it is the story of Spice and Wolf: Trader meets the wise wolf Episode 20 “Church Girl and Miller Boy” is what keeps me watching. All because of the playful conversations and other interactions between Kraft and Holo, even when Kraft does things like accidentally step on Holo’s tail. I like this even more because there have been so many strong emotional arcs lately, so the gentle summoning is a nice breather in an episode. Still, there are mysterious elements in this episode that shine through the summoning, immersing you even more in the story. It’s this balance that makes this a wonderful milk chocolate episode to sink your teeth into and let it melt on your tongue. Anyway, kudos to Isuna Hasekura for writing this wonderful story.

The animation complements this wonderful story. Passione maintains a pretty high animation quality in this episode, as they have done in general in the previous episodes. The buildings in particular are very nicely drawn. Honestly, they look like they came out of a watercolor painting. It’s a nice visual treat for the start of this final story arc of the anime.

Spice and Wolf: Trader meets the wise wolf Ep. 20 “Church Girl and Miller Boy”: Evil

He’s just embarrassed to be Müller, that’s all.

Unfortunately, if you’re an action junkie, this episode isn’t for you. Spice and Wolf: Trader meets the wise wolf Episode 20 “Church Girl and Miller Boy” is basically a slice of life and romance with a dash of mystery thrown in for good measure. It’s not an action-packed episode. If that’s what you want, you might want to watch: Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Single levels, Kaiju No. 8and/or The Elusive Samurai. These anime series should provide more than enough action to keep you satisfied.
