“Don’t make me angry today!” Love Island fans angry because Monday’s episode is missing from ITVX

Love Island fans were furious when Monday night’s episode (22.07.24) was missing from ITVX.

Viewers hoping to watch the first episode of the week took to social media early Tuesday (23.07.24) to complain because they logged into the service and found that Sunday’s episode was listed as the latest.

Some Love Island fans slammed ITVX as “useless” and one questioned ITV’s “terrible customer service” after the website failed to provide a reason for an episode missing.

One fan posted on X: “Aye listen @ITVX you had more than enough time to add to today’s Love Island episode, don’t make me mad today (sic)”

One viewer wrote: “@ITVX @ITVXhelp @LoveIsland why is last night’s episode still not online? Maybe you should let people know why… terrible customer service (sic)”

Another supporter wrote: “@ITVX is so useless sometimes, how come I haven’t seen last night’s episode of Love Island (sic)”

One posted: “Pretty shocking that I actually pay for @ITVX and can’t watch #loveisland from last night (sic)”

As of Tuesday morning (23.07.24), the episode was still not available on ITVX and the service’s X account had not posted about the missing episode.

However, the episode later appeared on the streaming service just in time for fans to watch it with their Elevenses.

Those lucky enough to have watched Monday night’s episode at this time will have seen the Islanders’ parents heading into the villa to take part in what is usually an emotional episode.

It featured Joey Essex’s sister, his former TOWIE co-star Frankie Essex and Joey’s grandmother.

His partner Jessy Potts was accompanied by her mother Julie and father Matthew.

However, Julie warned Joey: “One little thing for me… If you’ve had a relationship with someone in the past, just show them a little respect afterward. I think Grace needs a little of that.”

“I just think you need to be a little friendly to her.”

Love Island returns tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX and in Ireland on Virgin Media Two and Virgin Media Player.
