Homeowners in the Briargate area find sewage flowing into their homes

COLORADO SPRINGS – Horror, shock and disgust were the emotions Ginger Noble felt when she realized her home was flooded with sewage.

Her insurance company told her they would not cover the damage because Springs Utilities was at fault.

She tells me Colorado Springs Utilities didn’t resolve her problem quickly until her family and neighbors confronted the Springs Utilities Board at Wednesday’s meeting.

I contacted Springs Utilities. During my phone conversation, the spokesperson told me they have reached out to the homeowners. They are investigating who is at fault and should have answers by Friday.

Ginger says she wants to find out the cause and get help for herself and her neighbors with the cost of repairs.

“It looks like they’re trying… At this point, I’m trying to have faith, right?”

We will continue to follow the story and stay updated with new information.
