Gogglebox star Pat Webb dies, son Stephen Webb shares touching tribute
Gogglebox star Pat Webb has died at the age of 75 after a long illness.
The news was confirmed by the hit Channel 4 show’s official Instagram account, which also announced her death over the weekend.
“We are deeply saddened to announce that Gogglebox star Mummy Pat Webb passed away this weekend aged 75 after a long illness,” the post reads. “Pat was a much-loved cast member of the show from seasons 10 to 12 alongside her son Stephen.”
“Mummy Pat will be remembered and missed by her children Stephen, Denise, Sharon, Beverley and extended family. Our thoughts are with the family who have asked for privacy at this sad time.”

Pat’s son Stephen Webb, with whom she appeared in the hit Channel 4 show, also paid tribute to her on Instagram.
Stephen shared fond memories of his late mother and uploaded a collection of sweet photos.
As a caption to his post, Stephen wrote: “Mommy Pat, you were one in a million, took everyone at face value, would have shared your last nickel with a stranger, were the salt of the earth and the absolute center of our world! Rest in peace, Mommy.”

In the comments, several of Stephen’s Gogglebox co-stars shared messages of support.
“Oh Stephen, I’m so sorry!” wrote Lisa Baggs. “Your mum was so funny when you were both on Gogglebox. Sending you, Daniel and your family so much love.”
“We send you all our love and prayers at this sad time brother,” added Mica Ven. “Mummy Pat’s memory will always be remembered with laughter and warmth, that’s for sure.”
“Sending love, prayers and strength,” commented Twaine Plummer. “You have great memories to hold on to.”
