Last Waltz Tour ’24 with star cast

Blackbird presents has a star-studded line-up for the Life is a Carnival: Last Waltz Tour ’24.

The tour celebrates the bandhistoric Thanksgiving concert in 1976 at the famous Winterland Ballroom in San Francisco and the life and legacy of the late co-founder Robbie Robertson.

The lineup of artists includes Ryan Bingham, Jamie Johnson, Michael Campbell, Benmont Tench (Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers), Don Was, Johannes Medeski, Dave Malone, Terence Higgins, Cyril Neville, Mark Mullins and that Dyke squirrel (with the original wind arrangements by Allen Toussaint).

Additionally, Luke Nelson will join the tour for three special shows in Colorado.

The multi-city tour begins October 19 at Warfield in San Francisco and runs through November, with stops at historic sites throughout the United States and Canada.

The journey begins a few days after a concert in honor of Robertson, with Eric Clapton, Elvis Costello and many other superstar artists.

Robbie Robertson. Life is a Carnival: A Musical Celebration by Robbie Robertson takes place on October 17th at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles.

Tickets for the tour are on sale now, with a portion of the proceeds being donated to local charities.
