TikTok star Bella Brave has died from a combination of rare health problems.

In a post shared on Instagram, the 10-year-old social media personality’s mother, Kyla, confirmed her daughter’s death on July 15, a week after she was placed in a medically induced coma.

Kyla frequently posted videos of herself and her daughter doing everything from visiting Disneyland to playing around with makeup. According to Canadian radio station CJMEBella was born with three rare diseases, including dwarfism, Hirschsprung’s disease and severe combined immunodeficiency.

Bella – born Isabella Thomson – suffered complications from a lung infection. Before she was put into a coma, Kyla wrote that Bella was intubated in intensive care on July 9. The next day, she told her followers that her family had received bad news about Bella’s condition.

“The best of the best told us it looked really bad. But I kept my eyes up and listened intently until I heard what hope there was that we could hold on to,” she wrote. “Bella’s lungs have rapidly deteriorated into fibrosis. They think it may be an immune reaction.”

She continued: “They saw this after the bone marrow transplant, but why it’s happening now and so quickly is unknown to them. The only option they have to get their lungs working again is high dose steroids. We’re on day two of this and day three will give us more information about how quickly their lung function might improve.”

“Bella is in an induced coma. She is stable and that is an improvement at this point,” she added, noting that she and her husband have been trying their best to comfort her throughout the ordeal. “Lyle and I talk to her, I play music for her and we read her all the cards, letters and messages that you all have sent. We pray and believe that we have stopped the fibrosis attack on her lungs in time for her lungs to heal and function again. This wait is beyond unbearable.”

Unfortunately, Bella succumbed to complications, breaking the hearts of her 7.3 million followers. On TikTok, Kyla shared clips of Bella dancing to “Never Enough” by Loren Allred in a purple dress. The greatest showman. She also shared a sweet post of her daughter on Instagram.

“Our brave girl left her legacy here on earth to dance on streets of gold,” Kyla wrote in an Instagram caption. “Bella passed away peacefully in our arms. Please keep her name on your lips, memories of her and her bravery in your hearts.”

She added: “Please share with us any details about how she touched your life or gave you encouragement. Bella would want you to remember: God is love, be brave and you are never too old to bring a stuffed animal.”

There was an outpouring of support and prayers for Bella in the comments section.

“I have been quietly following this account and watching her live her life to the fullest and not once complain,” one person wrote. “This is heartbreaking.”

Another added: “This has broken me to the core. Rest in peace Bella, my prayers are with you all.”
