Matthew Perry’s last words before fatal ketamine injection revealed in court documents

New details have emerged about Friends The final hours of Hollywood star Matthew Perry after five people were charged in connection with his death from the acute effects of ketamine.

According to court documents obtained by NBC News, the night Perry received the fatal doses, Perry told his longtime assistant, Kenneth Iwamasa, to “give him a big dose.” Iwamasa, who pleaded guilty to several counts of ketamine trafficking in exchange for a guilty plea, injected Perry with the drug himself, despite having no medical training.

After contacting a doctor named Salvador Plasencia, who connected Perry to the drug through “ketamine queen” Jasveen Sangha in September 2023, the actor received six to eight injections a day in the month leading up to his death on October 28, 2023.

The documents also state that on the day of his death, Perry requested three ketamine injections in just six hours. After the third injection, Iwamasa went out to run errands and when he returned, he found Perry lying face down in the heated portion of his pool. Perry’s longtime assistant admitted to authorities that he administered 27 ketamine injections to Perry in his final five days.

The investigation into Perry’s death revealed that the actor had relapsed after his long battle with addiction – a battle he had previously spoken openly about – and uncovered a “wide-ranging, underground criminal network,” authorities said on Thursday.

Iwamasa, Plasencia, Sangha, another doctor named Mark Chavez and a dealer named Erik Fleming have all been charged in connection with Perry’s death. The charges include conspiracy to distribute ketamine, distribution of ketamine resulting in death, operating a drug premises and falsifying records.

Fleming, Iwamasa and Chavez have all accepted a settlement, according to New York Postand Sangha, the “Ketamine Queen,” pleaded not guilty ahead of their trial scheduled for October 8.
