Kaitlyn Dever had to increase security measures while working on the upcoming second season of The Last of Us.

The 27-year-old actress will play the character Abby in the new episodes, who, in case you don’t know, is a rival of Ellie, played by Bella Ramsey.

In a recent interview, one of the Kaitlyn‘s co-stars in the series adaptation, Isabela Mercedrevealed that she needs more security personnel due to her figure and the reaction of her fans.

When appearing on the Happy Sad Confused Podcast, Presenter Josh Horowitz noted that in the video games, Abby “does some things that people don’t necessarily approve of.”

Isabella said Kaitlyn “had to be specially protected by security forces during filming” because fans hated the character.

“There are people who really hate Abby, even though she is not a real person,” Isabella she said on the capsule. However, she added that Kaitlyn is “such a cool guy” who “doesn’t let anything bother him” and “has his head in the right place”.

“Honestly give her the damn Emmy. I’m so excited for people to see how incredibly good Bella And Kaitlyn did this,” she said of her co-stars.
