The Pogues set sail for their next adventure in Outer banks Season 4. The hit Netflix drama was renewed for a fourth season in February 2023 (before season 3 premiered). Filming for season 4 has been completed and a premiere date is in sight.

On August 14, Netflix released a fun teaser of the Pogues. After their time jump, the crew has decided to run the Kildare County Surf Shop when they’re not out treasure hunting. The video was a commercial for their new business. Watch the full teaser above.

When will Outer banks Will season 4 be released?

Season 4 will be released in late 2024, according to Netflix. In the latest teaser, the streamer revealed that season 4 will be released in fall 2024. Filming for the new season began in June 2023. Production was delayed due to the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes, but resumed after new contracts were signed. Stokes spoke with People about how John B. and Sarah’s relationship will evolve after the deaths of their fathers. “When you experience loss, it hits you in places and places you don’t expect,” he said. “In the situation that John B. and Sarah are in, it really forces them to evaluate everything. Where they are, what their goal is, what their intentions are, and what was the actual value of it? Was it worth it in hindsight? If they could go back and change things, would they? Or are they comfortable with that?”

Will there be a Outer banks Season 5?

Netflix has not announced anything about the future of Outer banks beyond season 4. Back in 2020, co-creator and showrunner Jonas Pate EW that he always viewed the show as “something that would probably last four, maybe five seasons, but definitely four seasons.”

Since the show became a global hit on the stream, the co-creators have changed their minds. “I don’t know if I could give an exact number now – how long it takes to get to that ending could expand, but we now know the shape of the end of the story.
