A rainy day in Munich couldn’t stop LeBron James from attending an Adele concert.

A video shows the Los Angeles Lakers star twirling his umbrella during the English singer’s performance of the song “Set Fire to the Rain.”

Adele is reportedly engaged to James’ agent and longtime friend Rich Paul.

Adele appeared to confirm her engagement to the founder and CEO of Klutch Sports during another concert in Munich earlier this month, where she appeared to show the audience an engagement ring on her left hand.

She and Paul were first the subject of dating rumors when they were seen together at the 2021 NBA Finals.

James has said he is a fan of the singer himself. The Lakers star attended an Adele concert at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas in October, which he described on Instagram as “absolutely incredible.”

“It was a pleasure to see live!” wrote James of Adele’s concert last fall. “Never to be forgotten! RARE!!! A breath of fresh air, an impressive flash of light and an unfazed, humble yet super confident aura!!”

James then traveled to the open-air arena at Messe München to see the singer again.

Adele is currently in the middle of a month-long residency at the arena, which runs from August 2nd to 31st and includes two shows per night.

James, meanwhile, appears to be spending some more time in Europe following his victorious run at the 2024 Paris Olympics, where the U.S. men’s basketball team defeated France 98-87 last Saturday to secure its fifth consecutive gold medal at the event.

The Lakers star has about a month and a half to enjoy the rest of his offseason before training for NBA teams can begin on October 1.
