…don’t be idiots, people!

The Last Of Us Season 2

The Last Of Us Season 2 isn’t coming until next year, but the teasers for the upcoming season have a lot of people on edge. After all, the original season was not only an Emmy-nominated, near-masterpiece adaptation, but also a reboot of one of the most popular video games of all time. However, with Season 2, they’re not getting the same “goodwill.” While the second title in Naught Dog’s post-apocalyptic series sold incredibly well and won a number of awards, it’s also one of the most controversial video games in history. The tone of the title was much darker than before, and one character literally brought out the worst in gamers.

We are, of course, talking about Abby. While we won’t give away what happened for those who haven’t played yet, we can safely say that she attracted a LOT of negative attention upon her arrival and her actions in the game. So if she The Last Of Us Season 2 When Abby was cast in the guise of Kaitlyn Dever, the people on set apparently took no risks to ensure her safety.

“There are people who really hate Abby, even though she’s not a real person,” Merced said during the show. “Just a reminder, not a real person. Kaitlyn had to be especially well protected during filming.”

This may seem crazy at first, but the debate about Abby has been persistent since the game came out. People were so angry about what Abby did, and the fact that she was technically spared at the end of the game, that they sent death notices to voice actress Laura Bailey for her “role” in “what Abby did.”

With that in mind, it’s not hard to understand why the HBO crew wanted to protect Kaitlyn Dever, just in case one of those “fans” showed up.

Just to be clear, if you are one of the fans who sent Laura Bailey or Kaitlyn Dever such messages, then you are the problem, not them.

While it’s understandable to feel angry or upset at certain video game moments, it’s not right to express your feelings in the most brutal way possible, so if you’re still angry about what Abby did, you simply won’t want Season 2 when it comes out next year.
