Apple TV+ shares clip for episode 3 of BAD MONKEY

Apple TV+ has released a sneak peek from the third episode of Bad Monkey, the new comedy series starring and executive produced by Vince Vaughn and award-winning executive producer Bill Lawrence. The third episode, titled “Nobody Said He Was Alvin Einstein,” premieres on Apple TV+ on Wednesday, August 21, followed by new episodes every Wednesday through October 9.

103 – Nobody Said He Was Alvin Einstein: Yancy and Rosa continue to search for more information on Nick. Caitlin confronts Eve, leading to a shocking revelation.

Based on Carl Hiaasen’s New York Times bestseller and cult novel, Bad Monkey tells the story of Andrew Yancy (Vaughn), fired from the Miami police force and now a health inspector in the Keys. But when he stumbles upon a case that begins with a human arm recovered from tourists, he realizes that if he can prove a murder, he’ll get back in. All he has to do is get past a bunch of Floridian oddballs and an evil monkey.

The ensemble cast also includes L. Scott Caldwell (“The Fugitive”), Rob Delaney (“Catastrophe”), Meredith Hagner (“Search Party”), Natalie Martinez (“La Promesa del Retorno”), Alex Moffat (“Saturday Night Live,” “Holidate”), Michelle Monaghan (“Gone Baby Gone,” “Kiss Kiss Bang Bang”), Ronald Peet (“First Reformed”), Jodie Turner-Smith (“Queen & Slim”) and Scott Glenn (“The Leftovers”), with special guest star John Ortiz (“Fast & Furious”) and guest stars Zach Braff (“Scrubs”) and Charlotte Lawrence in her television debut.

“Bad Monkey” comes from Warner Bros. Television and is being developed by executive producer and showrunner Bill Lawrence through his company Doozer Productions along with Jeff Ingold, Matt Tarses (“Scrubs”), Marcos Siega, Vaughn and Liza Katzer.

“Bad Monkey” is the latest collaboration between Bill Lawrence and Warner Bros. Television for Apple TV+, following the Emmy-nominated global hit series “Shrinking” and the global phenomenon “Ted Lasso.” “Ted Lasso,” which Lawrence co-wrote, made history by becoming the most Emmy-nominated new comedy series of all time and winning two consecutive Emmy Awards for Best Comedy Series for its first and second seasons.
