J.Lo dances at Bruno Mars’ concert on Ben Affleck’s birthday – husband nowhere to be seen
Jennifer Lopez had a blast on Ben Affleck’s 52nd birthday and danced her heart out at a Bruno Mars concert in Los Angeles on Thursday night – but she danced alone and her husband was nowhere to be seen.
Ironically, as her marriage was falling apart, the 55-year-old “On the Floor” singer belted out Mars’ hit “Marry Me.” Coincidentally, Lopez has a song and a movie with the same name.
A “Bennifer” fan account posted a video of Lopez dancing at the Intuit Dome in LA on X on Thursday night.
Lopez was also seen backstage before Mars began the concert.
The “Atlas” star then spent some time in the VIP area of the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California.
She was beaming from ear to ear when actor Ashton Kutcher stopped by her table to say hello.
Earlier that day, however, Lopez was photographed leaving Affleck’s apartment building in the upscale Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles.
The visit was the second time in the past week that she was seen at Affleck’s residence after months of absence.
Lopez also stopped by Affleck’s home on Sunday, August 12, where she stayed for five hours after spending a day shopping in Century City and at Neiman Marcus in Beverly Hills with Affleck’s 12-year-old son, Samuel, whom he has with ex-wife Jennifer Garner.
Garner was also spotted at the Oscar winner’s house on Thursday. The couple have three children together: Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel.
Despite their recent reunions, rumors of an impending divorce still seem to be rife. The Daily Mail reported that their divorce documents are “ready but not yet filed.”
Although Lopez made a cameo appearance on Affleck’s birthday, he was not at her “Bridgerton”-style 55th birthday party in the Hamptons in July, nor did the two spend their second wedding anniversary together that same month.
Lopez did not post a greeting on social media on Affleck’s birthday, but instead shared photos from her own birthday party.
Mr. and Mrs. Affleck were last photographed together in May when they attended Affleck’s daughter Violet’s high school graduation.
The “Jenny From the Block” singer spent much of her summer traveling, visiting Europe and the Hamptons. Affleck was reportedly focused on his work.
Sources told People earlier this month that Affleck hasn’t had the “easiest summer” but is “doing well” despite the end of his marriage being discussed publicly.
Affleck purchased a $20.5 million LA bachelor pad in July after he and Lopez put their $60 million Beverly Hills mansion up for sale last year.
The star of “Manhattan Maid” is reportedly looking for her own apartment in LA
Lopez and Affleck first started dating in 2002. They got engaged that same year and sparked a media frenzy when the nickname “Bennifer” was born.
After postponing their marriage, the couple separated in 2004. However, in 2021, after Lopez’s engagement to baseball star Alex Rodriguez ended, she and Affleck reunited. They finally married in July 2022.
