Dyson launches the Wash G1 at a stunning price

If you’re looking for a new hard floor cleaner to remove all stains and marks, Dyson has launched a new wet floor cleaner, the Wash G1 – just be careful not to look at the price!

The Wash G1 is possibly one of the best wet floor cleaners on the market as it removes wet and dry dirt from start to finish in one pass using clean water. Powerfully removes spills, dirt, hair and stubborn dried-on stains from all types of hard floors.

It also automatically separates wet and dry waste into separate containers for hygienic disposal – so you don’t have to touch the dirt. It is particularly ideal for tiles, vinyl, laminate and sealed wooden floors in the hallway, kitchen, bathroom and dining area.

There are three cleaning modes that allow you to adjust the moisture level to suit the task: Level 1, Level 2 or Level 3. This allows you to clean everything from light spills to sticky liquids and dried stains.

The click-in battery with four lithium-ion cells delivers up to 35 minutes of floor cleaning power and in just 140 seconds the self-cleaning cycle rinses the entire system so that it is ready for the next use. And all this while the vacuum cleaner is charging on the docking station.

If that all sounds great to you, there’s just the small matter of price – you’ll have to pay a whopping £599.99 for the Wash G1, which isn’t cheap at all, but if it’s perfect for you, it might be time to treat yourself.

The reviews for the device are also excellent. One reviewer said, “I’ve dreamed of having a machine like this; it’s amazing. I always knew you had to remove dirty water from the floor or you would dilute the dirt. Doing that was tedious. This machine does all that and has a bonus: it vacuums too.”

But as mentioned, some reviewers had a problem with the price. Another added, “Good, but not worth the money. Works fine on recent spills, but not great on things like footprints or anything that could dry a little. Easy to use, clean, fill, etc.”

However, if you don’t want to shell out that much for the Wash G1, Shark offers a corded alternative which costs £229 at the time of writing and may be a better alternative.
