A new episode of WEtv’s hit series “Love After Lockup” will premiere on Friday, August 16 at 8 p.m. The popular reality series documents a group of couples who fall in love under the most unexpected circumstances. Viewers will follow them on their journey after their release from prison.

While Love After Lockup airs on WE, those who have canceled their cable TV can stream the show live on streaming services Philo (free trial) or DirecTV Stream (free trial).

“Love after prison” Season 5, Episode 34 will air on Friday, August 16 at 8 p.m. and is titled “How Mentally Stable Are You?”

What is “Love After Lockup” about?

WE tv’s Love After Lockup takes the term “lockup” to a new level. Couples “get to know” each other by texting while one of them is in prison and meet for the first time when he or she is released from prison. One can imagine the obstacles along the way as the inmates experience freedom for the first time after months or years behind bars, while also trying to build new relationships. Viewers get to see the couples throw themselves into their relationships, meet family members and experience their newfound love outside of bars.
