The Brooklyn Nets have numerous draft resources at their disposal in the future.

Those picks include one they acquired in the Mikal Bridges trade from the New York Knicks and is scheduled for next year’s draft.

Jonathan Wasserman, draft analyst at Bleacher Report, conducted a mock draft and selected new shooting guard Ian Jackson from North Carolina.

“Ian Jackson has been one of the most visible and accessible prospects for scouts,” Wasserman writes. “He has played in three FIBA ​​tournaments, the All-Star Tour last spring and several games against Overtime Elite. He is a pure scorer who puts pressure on the basket, makes confident shots and moves without the ball. Jackson would have to make some adjustments in a starting lineup alongside Elliot Cadeau and RJ Davis. But with North Carolina signing the high-scoring winger Cade Tyson, Jackson could actually benefit from playing as an offensive force off the bench.”

Jackson was named a McDonald’s All-American this year, a sign that he could develop into a strong NBA player. However, he will still need some development both in North Carolina and in the NBA, whether or not he decides to sign after his freshman season.
