A complaint was filed because WINNER’s Lee Seung Hoon danced for 18 seconds before his ceremonial first pitch

A complaint was filed regarding WINNER member Lee Seung Hoon’s dance performance during a ceremonial first pitch.

On August 29, an Internet user filed a complaint demanding KBO Commissioner Heo-Koo-Yeon To “Take prompt and thorough action to prevent inappropriate first throws from disrupting the flow of the game.” calls on all teams to take action.

Lee Seung Hoon was invited to throw the first pitch on August 28th during the game between Lotte Giants And Hanwha Eagles at the Sajik Baseball Stadium in Busan. Lee, who hails from Busan, said enthusiastically: “The WINNER of Lotte is here. Let’s cheer for the Giants! I give you all the winning energy of the WINNER.” He then imitated a throwing motion, but instead danced on the mound for 18 seconds. This performance seemed unplanned, as Catcher Son Seong Bin was in his catching stance but didn’t get a throw. When Lee finally threw the ball, it bounced high after landing on home plate and landed behind Son Seong Bin, who had to get up and retrieve it.

This led to criticism that it was a “inappropriate first pitch that could disrupt the flow of the game”, and finally a formal complaint was filed.

However, Lee Seung Hoon seemed happy with his performance as he uploaded a video of the pitch on his personal account with the caption “First pitch #LotteGiants.”
