A woman, believed to be in her early thirties, could not hide her frustration over the harsh economic conditions in the country when John Dramani Mahama, the candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for the 2024 elections, visited Ashaiman as part of his civic participation tour of the Greater Accra Region.

The woman caught on camera was seen rolling around on the bare ground and chanting: “Mahama, we are suffering.”

She then burst into tears and complained bitterly about the current economic situation in Ghana under the leadership of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

She was consoled by one of the NDC sympathisers who accompanied her to the waiting crowd to receive the NDC flag bearer.
