Oasis announce three new UK reunion dates, bad reports about festival gigs

Citing “unprecedented demand,” Oasis announced on Thursday (August 29) that they will be adding three more shows to their Oasis Live ’25 World Tour reunion tour in the UK. In an X-post, the band revealed they have added a July 16 date at Heaton Park, as well as another show at Wembley Stadium on July 30 and a third night at Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh on August 12.

Earlier this week, the band, featuring sibling singer Liam and guitarist/songwriter Noel Gallagher, announced that they would play a series of 14 dates in the UK next summer after 15 years apart. The news sent long-time fans into a frenzy who had all but given up hope of a reconciliation between the notoriously feuding brothers. Although the number of dates now stands at 17, the band have denied reports following online speculation that the reunion would include festival appearances.

“Despite media speculation, Oasis not “We will not be playing at Glastonbury 2025 or any other festivals next year,” said a post on X on Wednesday. “The band can only be seen on their Oasis Live ’25 World Tour.” At press time, the band’s lineup for the reunion shows had not been announced and it was unclear whether they planned to record new music to accompany the shows.

In other news, the band also announced on Thursday morning that the registration window for a ticket pre-sale draw has been extended due to a “last-minute surge” in entries. As the large number of confirmation emails are still being processed and sent, the deadline to confirm registration has now been extended to Friday (August 30) at 10am BST (5am ET). Successful ballot holders will be contacted by 5pm BST (12pm ET) on Friday with information on how to access the pre-sale. At press time, ticket prices had not yet been announced.

Pre-sales for the shows are scheduled to begin on Friday, followed by general sales on Saturday (August 31).

The UK tour will now consist of the following shows:

4th & 5th July – Cardiff @ Principality Stadium

11, 12, 16, 19, 20 July – Manchester @ Heaton Park

25, 26, 30 July and 2, 3 August – London @ Wembley Stadium
