Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III

In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, the dominant team made its intentions clear early on, with most games ending 3-0 or 3-1. The two closely watched teams, OpTic Gaming and Atlanta FaZe, began their campaigns with strong performances against OMIT Brooklyn and Team Falcons, respectively, with scores of 3-0 and 3-1.

Lore Gaming was another team that many diehard fans were eager to see, as Alec “Arcitys” Sanderson made his long-awaited return to the professional scene. They struggled in their first series of the day against 100 Thieves, but one positive to come out of the matchup was an impressive 6-1 victory over Highrise Search and Destroy. Later in the day, Lore Gaming also played against Team Falcons, where they picked up their first win of the Esports World Cup 2024!

EA Sports FC 24

The first day of EA Sports FC 24 group action has also begun. A total of 16 players have been divided into two groups. Each group will play in a round-robin format and the top three players will advance to the playoffs. The fourth, fifth and sixth placed teams will advance to the resurrection phase, while the seventh and eighth placed teams will be sent home.

All of yesterday’s matches were played in a best-of-one (BO1) format with 9-minute halves. Among the key names to watch out for was Young, a Brazilian player representing Tuzzy E-Sports who managed to achieve a flawless set of results on the first day of the groups. In the other group, Bonanno, who plays for Manchester City, managed to do the same.

After 3 games per player, the two groups look like this:

StarCraft II

It was business as usual in StarCraft II, as the title’s leading players continued to overrun anyone who stood in their way. The favorite to win the overall title, Serral, swept the field with a quick 3-0 victory, while Solar and Dark Coffee and Astrea did the same. All of yesterday’s scores can be seen below:
