Oasis add more dates to reunion tour due to ‘unprecedented demand’ – Music News

Due to “unprecedented demand,” Oasis have added more dates to their highly anticipated reunion tour.

Brothers and former bandmates Noel and Liam Gallagher ended years of speculation about a reunion on Monday by confirming they have buried the hatchet after 15 years apart and will tour the UK and Ireland in 2025.

Fans rushed to register for tickets, which go on general sale Saturday, and demand for the shows was so “unprecedented” that three more were added.

The rockers have added a fifth date to their tour at Heaton Park in their hometown of Manchester, a fifth show at London’s Wembley Stadium and a third night at Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh, Scotland.

“Due to unprecedented demand, three new UK dates are being added to Oasis Live ’25,” they wrote on social media. “Heaton Park – July 16, Wembley – July 30, Edinburgh – August 12. Tickets go on sale this Saturday 31 August at 9am.”

The Oasis Live ’25 tour begins on July 4 and 5 at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales and ends on August 16 and 17 at Croke Park in Dublin, Ireland.

The dates led many to speculate that they would headline Glastonbury in June before starting the tour, but Wonderwall’s creators denied those rumors on Wednesday.

“Despite media speculation, Oasis will not be playing Glastonbury 2025 or any other festivals next year,” a band representative wrote on social media. “The only way to see the band perform is on their Oasis Live ’25 World Tour.”

The UK and Ireland shows will be their only European concerts next year, but they are working on plans to head to other continents later in 2025.
