IYDF and JJ Dance and Music Institute host charity event to give disadvantaged children a better future

Ludhiana (Punjab) (India), August 29: As part of a special initiative to improve the lives of underprivileged children, the International Youth Development Foundation (IYDF) has partnered with JJ Dance and Music Institute to organize an outreach event. The event was held from 3:00 pm to 6:15 pm at the slum area of ​​Dugri Main Road to provide essential educational materials and food to needy children.

The event was presided over by Jasbir Singh, who also heads the beneficiary organization. The selfless efforts of volunteers like Nusrat Warsi, Rishi Kumar, Prabhsaakhi Kaur, Pawan Kumar, Balwant Singh and Paras Ram ensured that the event ran smoothly and provided an unforgettable experience for the children.

During the event, 20 children from the slum community were given various educational materials and food items. The children were given school supplies such as backpacks, books, notebooks, pencil cases, crayons, erasers and sharpeners, and A4 drawing paper to encourage their creativity. They were also given a variety of treats including samosas, juice boxes, candy and chocolate gift packs and lemon sandwiches that brought a smile to their faces.

The event was marked by several exciting activities. Volunteers organized a painting competition, Frisbee games, brain games and a hide and seek game in which the children enthusiastically participated. The atmosphere was full of laughter and joy as these activities not only enriched their daily lives but also promoted teamwork and creativity among them.

Reflecting on the event, Jasbir Singh expressed his gratitude and pride, saying, “We are incredibly honored and proud to have organized this event.
