Here it is – probably the dumbest feud of 2024 so far.

It all started with a recent episode of The Osbournes when the topic of TikTok dances came up. The conversation eventually turned to Ozzy Osbournewho said: “I am sick of poor old Britney Spears on YouTube (Editor’s note: he means TikTok and Instagram),” said Ozzy before Sharon Osbourne clarified that he only meant her dancing. “Every damn day. It’s sad, very, very sad.”

Son Jack then he intervened and joked: “Save Britney”, while daughter Kelly added: “I know. I feel so sorry for her.” A few more comments were made about Spears‘ generally dancing presence on the platform, which is sad before everyone finally moved on. Except Spearswho got wind of the comments and was rightly irritated.

Spears has now issued the following statement defending her decision to dance, saying it doesn’t even make up a big part of her social media, and ending it all with: “I’m going to do a photoshoot with Catherine (Beckinsale) and tell the Osbourne Family that is the most boring family known to mankind, so please piss off!”

And maybe it is ridiculous to take sides Spears on a metal blog, but yeah – who cares if someone dances on their social media. If they’re having fun and it’s not hurting anyone or anything, let them. Also, and perhaps most importantly, the unsubscribe and “show less often” options are always available for all the stuff you’re obviously not into.

The Osbourne has not yet responded Spears. Unless Ozzy talked shit in Spears‘ comment section and I didn’t see it, which is entirely possible.
