Oasis extend reunion tour by three additional dates due to ‘unprecedented demand’ for tickets – Music News

Oasis have added three additional dates to their reunion tour.

The band Wonderwall confirmed their reunion earlier this week after a 15-year feud between siblings Noel and Liam Gallagher, and have now scheduled additional concerts in the UK due to “unprecedented demand” for tickets after registering for a pre-sale prize draw.

The rockers said: “Due to unprecedented demand, three new UK dates will be added to Oasis Live ’25. Heaton Park – July 16th Wembley – July 30th Edinburgh – August 12th. Tickets go on sale this Saturday August 31st at 9am BST.”

The additional performances mean the Britpop icons will play five shows at Wembley, five in their hometown of Manchester and three in the Scottish capital.

Meanwhile, Oasis guitarist Gem Archer is expected to join the Gallagher brothers on tour next year – along with Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs – after appearing in both Liam and Noel’s post-Oasis work as a member of Beady Eye and Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds respectively.

A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “None of the band members are 100 percent confirmed yet, but Gem is very likely to be in the band alongside Bonehead. The key is to find people that both brothers get on with and respect. Ideally, of course, they have been in the band before.”

“Gem ticks all of those boxes and has also helped write some Oasis songs. He’s an obvious target and it would be a huge surprise if he wasn’t on stage for the UK tour.

“He knows the songs, he knows the band inside and out and he’s toured with the Gallaghers before. So he knows what he’s getting into.”
