Register for the Girl Scouts of Northern Illinois’ 20th Annual Thin Mint Sprint
Runners, hikers, Girl Scouts and volunteers set out to run the 5K along the Fox River at Fox River Grove’s Lions Park in the annual Thin Mint Sprint. The Girl Scouts of Northern Illinois returns Saturday, September 14.

On Saturday, September 14, the Girl Scouts of Northern Illinois, in partnership with the Fox River Grove Memorial Library Running Club, will host their 20th annual Thin Mint Sprint, a 5K fundraising run/march, from 8:30 a.m. to noon.
The race course begins and ends at Lions Park in Fox River Grove and takes participants on a scenic path through Fox River to a timed run that ends with an after-party.
The after-party event includes performances by School of Rock-Barrington, an on-site Kona Ice Truck, face painting by Kema, inflatables and other local exhibitors.
Registration is $40 per person through Friday, September 13th and $45 per person on race day, September 14th.
The registration fee includes a Thin Mint Sprint T-shirt, race bib with timing chip, medal, fun patch, box of official Girl Scout Thin Mints cookies and additional promotional items. Race material pickup is available the week of September 1. Register online at www.girlscoutsni.org/fundraising#thin.
All funds raised during the 20th Annual Thin Mint Sprint will go toward Girl Scout financial assistance programs, providing greater access to memberships, activities and leadership experiences for more local Girl Scouts!
