Ukraine has demonstrated great strategic boldness with its attacks on Russian territory, said the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy. Josep Borrell, upon his arrival at the informal Foreign Ministers’ Council in Brussels, at a press conference together with the Ukrainian Foreign Minister, Dmytro Kuleba. “The Kursk operation dealt a serious blow to Putin’s narrative about this war. At the same time, however, Russia continues to attack civilians and civilian infrastructure. On Monday, Russia launched an airstrike with more than 300 missiles and drones on Ukrainian cities and attempted to hit critical energy infrastructure. It is clear that Russia wants to completely destroy Ukraine’s power grid, putting it in darkness and cold for the coming winter,” he said. “Many hospitals and medical centers have been bombed. Russia wants to bomb a European country until it surrenders,” he added.
