A 19-year-old Duluth man is in St. Mary’s Hospital in Superior after being shot in the chest while allegedly attempting to rob the Ed Steinbrings Mercantile in Danbury, Wis. A second suspect is at large and is believed to be in the Twin Ports.

A 33-year-old Duluth man accused of releasing 200 mink from a ranch on Old North Shore Road told police he was a former employee and did it out of “revenge.” Meanwhile, some mink were rescued with the help of a Labrador retriever.
