2025 NASCAR Cup Series Calendar Leaked – This is the Reported Schedule
According to the calendar published by The Athletic, the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series will see dramatic changes.
For the first time in nearly seven decades, the NASCAR Cup Series will go beyond American borders for a points race, marking an unprecedented step toward the globalization of the sport. Mexico City’s Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez, known as the site of Formula One’s annual Mexican Grand Prix, is scheduled to host a NASCAR race on June 15.
Ben Kennedy, Executive Vice President of NASCAR, commented when announcing the new event, as Newsweek previously reported:
“This has been on our radar for a long time. We’ve talked about continually adjusting our schedule, right? You can go back a few years and enter new markets like Nashville and Austin, Texas.

“We were at the Coliseum for the Clash. … We were at our first street race in downtown Chicago, and this will be another first for us in many ways. This will certainly be a monumental event for us, the first time we’re racing south of the border.”
The Clash, the season opener traditionally played at the LA Coliseum, returns to its roots in the East. Bowman Gray Stadium in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, a place with a rich racing history, has been chosen as the venue for the inaugural event.
In particular, the race at the Nashville Superspeedway, which normally takes place in late June, has been brought forward to June 1 and will take place directly after the Coca-Cola 600 at the Charlotte Motor Speedway.
NASCAR will also change the crucial playoff portion of the season, which begins in Darlington on August 31. The 10-race showdown to determine the series champion will pass through Gateway, Bristol, New Hampshire and end in the Phoenix desert on November 2.
