Ranking Season 19, Episode 13:

11. Travel freak: For the second week in a row, I’ve loved every performance in this qualifier, so good luck, America! You’ve got a tough choice. It was also adorable to see Simon leading the kids. The singing itself was solid, but sounded a little off at times to me. Bob Marley looks down on him with pride though, as this slowed down version of his hit was a great choice. Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised to see him in the top 5 this week.

10. Kelsey Jane: I liked this performance, but I couldn’t help but think her audition was better. However, she is a fan favorite on social media, so she ends up being the big question mark of the week. I think she could make it to the next round.

9.Sabrina: The song “High School Musical” in the video package was a choice. Other than that, the performance itself was very impressive. They have a great chance of moving on to the next round and I was very surprised that Heidi didn’t use her Golden Buzzer on them.

8. The Reklaws: Vocally they are great and their personality is memorable too. The song selection wasn’t the best in my opinion, but overall this was a performance that many voters will appreciate. Also, the transmission during the performance was very patchy for me, so I hope that wasn’t the case for everyone.

7. Reid Wilson: Reid is a diamond in the rough who only gets better with age. The song choice was perfect for him vocally, but at the same time it felt a little too old for him. Despite this, he quickly became the talk of social media, especially among the age group that votes. He will be through to the next round.

6. Menu: This song is a real earworm. The performance itself was great, but Howie hit the nail on the head with the children’s show comparison, as it reminded me of The All-New Mickey Mouse Club, where future superstars were kids and got together with people who didn’t make it. Andrés Emilio Pirela And Nicolas Calero are going to be the future superstars here if they keep up this energy and singing. Do I think they’ll go through? No, but they had a great time so it was a small victory.

5. Jelly Boy the Clown: Normally, these kinds of actions drive me crazy. Somehow the Terrifier series didn’t rattle me so much, so I’ve come to appreciate the utter insanity of Jelly Boy the Clown. Ending the night with him was a great choice or an absolute nightmare, depending on which judge you asked. Simon and Howie agreeing while Sofia is horrified is a standout moment of the season for me. Will he make it to the next round? I doubt it.

4. Dee Dee Simon: Before the show, there was great anticipation for the GB Awards on social media. Teddy swims The cover was great but I was hoping for a more impactful song as this one has been sung to death in singing competitions. Simon predicted she could win the whole competition but Heidi’s GB proved her right on social media.

3. Learn more Jonasi: Terry’s Golden Buzzer win is one of the best in the history of the show. His material continues to be perfect and his stage presence was the best of the night. I was hoping he would win the GB Buzzer twice but hopefully the voters will send him through to the next round.

2. Maya Neelakantan: This performance rocked the AGT stage and I never wanted it to end. In a perfect world, this budding rock star would easily make it to the next round of the competition. Social media wasn’t so impressed, but after last week… well, it’s abundantly clear that most of these people aren’t voting anyway. Fingers crossed for her!

1.Sam Huang: Readers will know by now that I am a huge fan of magic tricks, so there isn’t much I haven’t seen on TV. This performance included some tricks I’d seen before, but overall it blew me away. Frankly, I would be shocked if he didn’t make it to the next round of the competition.
