Two victims were robbed after being led into a hotel by a teenager, police said

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – Memphis police have arrested and charged suspects with leading two victims to a hotel and robbing them of their belongings.

On July 27, officers responded to a call about a robbery at the Hotel Elite on Summer Avenue.

When officers arrived, two victims told them that a young girl had invited them to a party at the hotel.

According to the affidavit, the men were met in the lobby by the young girl and another woman.

Officers stated that the victims were led to the hotel room by the two women. As they entered the room, one of the suspects, Octavious Jones, pointed a gun at one of the victims’ heads.

The affidavit states that the two victims were robbed and assaulted by three men. One of the women, later identified as Nefeteria Anderson, helped demand the victims’ Cash App.

The victims were forced to hand over their personal belongings, including their phones and clothing, to the suspects.

Suspects Octavious Jones, Lorenzo Buckley and Michael Jones were later identified as the three men responsible for the armed robbery of the victims.

All suspects are now facing charges of aggravated robbery and aggravated kidnapping.
