A trailer for the horror thriller Die Alone with Frank Grillo, Carrie-Anne Moss and zombie-like creatures has been released

Last year we heard that WolfCop And Another WolfCop Director Lowell Dean was in the process of making a post-apocalyptic film called The Alonewith Frank Grillo (The Purge: Anarchy), Carrie-Anne Moss (the matrix Franchise) and Douglas Smith (Don’t worry, darling) in the lead roles. The film is now ready to make its way into the world, and Quiver Distribution plans to release it in theaters, digitally, and on VOD. 18 October– and today a trailer for the film was released online! You can watch it in the video embedded above.

Screenplay by Dean, The Alone is set “in a future where society collapses after a catastrophic pandemic” and follows Ethan (Smith), a young man with amnesia, teams up with Mae (Moss), a rugged survivalist. Besieged by zombie-like monsters during the plague, Ethan must use Mae’s survival skills to find his missing girlfriend before a fateful encounter with Kai (Grillo) reveals a secret hidden behind his fragmented memory.. Here is another summary: Lost in a world reclaimed by nature and haunted by mysterious creatures, a young man with amnesia teams up with an eccentric survivalist to find his missing girlfriend. Kimberly-Sue Murray (The Lizzie Borden Chronicles) is also in the cast.

Kevin DeWalt, Danielle Masters and Benjamin DeWalt of Minds Eye Entertainment produced The Alone while Scott Martin, Michael Slifkin and Jack Sheehan of Archstone serve as executive producers.

In addition to the WolfCop Movies, Dean also shot the horror film 13 Scary and the science fiction action film SuperGridHe participated in the anthology film I love Regina and has also directed episodes of the shows Opie’s Home, Keeping Canada Alive, Dust Up, And Blood, lies and alibis. I’m not that familiar with Dean’s work, but that’s OK because I was already sold on this project when I saw that Frank Grillo would be in the cast. Mix Grillo with “zombie-like monsters” and I’m excited to see The Alone since I first heard about it fifteen months ago.
