Christina Hall undergoes tattoo removal during divorce from Josh Hall
“Flip or Flop” star Christina Hall is leaving her nearly three-year marriage to Josh Hall behind.
In an Instagram story shared on Monday, Christina Hall, 41, shared a video of herself undergoing laser removal of a tattoo on her ring finger, according to screenshots obtained by Us Weekly and People. She did not reveal which tattoo she had removed.
According to media reports, Hall appeared to have joked about her divorce proceedings earlier that day when she posted a video of a suitcase with the caption, “When you need a man to do the heavy lifting for you. Actually just a really strong assistant. Cheaper and safer option.”
USA TODAY has reached out to Hall’s representative for comment.
What did Christina Hall and Josh Hall say about their divorce?
Hall has hinted at the end of her third marriage several times on Instagram in the month since she and Josh Hall both filed divorce papers.
In an Instagram story earlier this month, she told her followers that she finally had “her appetite back,” was “working out again,” and had had “some of her best nights out with friends,” according to Us Weekly and Today.
“I have a life coach and I made a promise to myself and her – I will never give up my peace again,” Hall wrote. She also wrote that her children are “happy” and her “house feels like home.”
Josh Hall made a public statement about the split in an Instagram post on August 2.
“I prefer privacy, especially during a life-changing situation like a divorce that I did not want,” wrote the 43-year-old real estate agent. “I will not publicly disparage anyone because people have families, friends and others that they respect and love. Unfortunately, the internet is forever.”
He added: “We are real people, this is our life and I am not here to entertain people I don’t know with my private affairs. Those details will be dealt with fairly in due course behind closed doors with our respective legal advisors. Anyone who knows each of us knows who we are.”
What Josh and Christina Hall’s divorce documents reveal
Both Christina and Josh Hall cited irreconcilable differences in their filings, but Josh Hall claimed in his July 12 petition that they separated on July 8, while Christina Hall stated July 7 in her statement of claim signed on July 15.
In his motion, Josh Hall sought spousal support from his estranged wife, while Christina Hall asked the court not to award spousal support to either party. Josh Hall also requested that the rights to television series and specials they produced during their marriage be considered community property to be divided equally.

The two have been married since 2021 and announced a new HGTV show in May called “The Flip Off,” which also stars Christina’s ex-husband Tarek El Moussa and his wife Heather Rae El Moussa.
The Halls did not have any children together, but Josh Hall was stepfather to Christina’s children – 13-year-old Taylor, 8-year-old Brayden and 4-year-old Hudson – from her previous marriages to “Flip or Flop” El Moussa and British TV star Ant Anstead.
Christina Hall was previously married to British TV star Ant Anstead and “Flip or Flop” presenter Tarek El Moussa. She has three children from her previous marriages.
