Shania Twain opens new bar in Nashville

If you visit Nashville’s famous Broadway, you’ll come across a group of bachelorettes belting out Shania Twain classics. And soon, they’ll be able to bring their karaoke to the Canadian hitmaker’s new bar.

According to a report by Nashville Business JournalMultiple sources say Twain is partnering with Nashville Underground restaurant and bar, owned by pop singer Gavin DeGraw and his brother Joey, to open her own establishment. Nashville Underground has been a staple in the area since 2018 – it’s located at the river end of the Broadway Strip, near Acme Feed & Seed.

Details are scarce, and Twain representatives had not commented to NBJ at time of publication, but expect lots of pink and shimmer as the bar takes shape.

She will be in good company there too: Nashville’s growing list of celebrity bars includes Luke Combs’ Hurricane, Blake Shelton’s Ole Red, Lainey Wilson’s Bell Bottoms Up Restaurant & Bar and Dozens from others.

Twain is currently performing live in Las Vegas as part of her Shania Twain: Come on Over residency. The hitmaker of “That Don’t Impress Me Much” – a country-pop crossover success since the ’90s – has sold more than 100 million records to date, making her one of the genre’s most recognizable artists.
