FRIENDS’ Worst act

Although Ross goes through several important storylines throughout the story FRIENDS, There’s a running joke that never gets old. Considering the series begins with his first divorce, it’s not surprising that by the end, the character and the audience themselves can’t get enough of him being the butt of all the marriage jokes.

After several failed relationships and three divorces, Ross’s luck in love only improves at the end of the series when he gets together with Rachel. However, there is one point in the series that fans collectively hate; they consider it to be the low point in Ross and Rachel’s long love story.

The moment when Rachel and Joey get together is heavily criticized by fans, not only because it was inevitable that it would end, but also because it took so long. There is one particular moment in their relationship that fans intentionally hate: when Joey accidentally proposes to Rachel.

In the first episode of season 9, fans are faced with a new scourge when Joey accidentally proposes to Rachel with Ross’ family ring and Jennifer Aniston’s character says yes. The episode has been torn apart by fans for years, with many skipping it every time they rewatch the series.

David Schwimmer’s humor is legendary

Although Ross is one of the less popular protagonists from FRIENDS, There’s no denying that David Schwimmer was behind some of the funniest scenes on the show. From moving the couch to teaching Rachel and Phoebe self-defense to his reaction to Monica and Chandler being together, it’s safe to say he was one of the funniest actors on the show, second only to Matthew Perry.

With that in mind, it’s not surprising that he was able to save the series from one of its worst arcs, according to fans. At one point in the episode, Phoebe learns that Rachel is engaged, and naturally assumes it’s to Ross since she just gave birth to her baby. When she goes to Schwimmer’s character to congratulate him, he is very confused.

Given the number of engagements and marriages, he was very confused as to whether he had accidentally proposed to Rachel again. He joked that he was out of his mind and mentioned that it sounded like he was proposing to someone a lot.

I didn’t propose to you! (pause) Unless, uh… (pause) Did I? I haven’t slept in 40 hours &… it actually sounds like I am.
