Quiver Distribution has released the official trailer for The Alonean upcoming horror thriller starring Carrie-Anne Moss from “The Matrix” and Frank Grillo, star of “The Purge” series.

The film is scheduled to be released on October 18, 2024. It stars Douglas Smith (Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 1) and Kimberly-Sue Murray (Art Of Falling In Love). It is written and directed by Lowell Dean, the filmmaker behind 13 Eerie, Another WolfCop, SuperGrid and Dark Match.

What happens in the “Die Alone” trailer?

The trailer begins with a look at the world ravaged by a virus that reclaims the lives of those unfortunate enough to survive. In order for the planet to regain its balance, those infected are transformed into a fearsome force of nature dubbed the “Reclaimer.”

Viewers are then introduced to Ethan (Smith), a young man with amnesia who sets out to find his girlfriend Emma (Murray) with the help of another survivor, Mae (Moss). With only fragments of his memory to guide him in his quest to find his girlfriend, the trailer gives a taste of the tough road Ethan will face amidst the chaos.

“Lost in a world reclaimed by nature and overrun by mysterious creatures, a young man with amnesia teams up with an eccentric survivalist to find his missing girlfriend,” says the logline of ‘Die Alone’.

Grillo, who is no stranger to thriller films, plays survivor Kai. Moss, on the other hand, is known for her roles in Memento, Disturbia, Frankenstein, Fido and Accidental Texan, among others. Meanwhile, Smith has expanded his acting portfolio with leading roles in Seven Veils and Don’t Worry Darling.
