A flower girl thrilled the wedding guests with her impressive choreography!

In an August 16 TikTok that has since gone viral, 9-year-old competitive dancer Scarlett Rae did a backflip down the aisle as she left the ceremony at a celebration in California.

In the clip, which has been viewed over 1.4 million times, Scarlett prepares for and performs four flips, landing at the other end of the aisle. Wedding guests can be heard cheering her on in the background.

Scarlett’s mother, Raina Elegado, uploaded the video and captioned it: “POV: This was your daughter’s exit as a flower girl.”

“Scarlett came up with her own routine and chose the song ‘Love on Top’ by Beyoncé,” she says, adding that the wedding had some fun, “unconventional” elements. “The groom even danced down the aisle to ‘Suit and Tie’ and two cousins came down with bottles of champagne to ‘Crazy in Love.'”

What was most surprising to Raina was that the video had appeared on Inside Edition, among other websites. “Luckily, someone who was at the wedding was watching Inside Edition and happened to see my daughter,” she explains. “She recorded it and then sent it to my uncle (the bride’s father), who shared it in our family group chat.”

“People have been contacting me and telling me they saw my daughter on the news, which was pretty cool,” Elegado says.

The mother-daughter duo has a dance background: Scarlett has been taking lessons since she was three years old and started competitive dance and acrobatics classes at the same dance studio when she was five.

This isn’t the first time Scarlett has shown off her backflip skills. Last Christmas, she wowed her family with another video that went viral. “When she’s not in the dance studio, she’s still dancing at home or wherever we are,” Elegado adds.
