TRP Ratings August 16, 2024: Anupamaa is all set to be No.1 show, Udne Ki Aasha takes second spot along with Jhanak, Lawyer Anjali Awasthi secures huge slot
In this week’s TRP ratings released today, August 16, Anupamaa is ranked No. 1. Udne Ki Aasha and Jhanak are ranked No. 2, while Advocate Anjali Awasthi opens as the No. 3 show at the GECs.
It has been an interesting week for TV shows across all GECs with many new shows doing well in their launch week. Many of the popular shows continue to do well and are increasing in the ratings. The ratings released on August 16, 2024, have shown that Anupamaa, the Star Plus show, has taken the top spot with 2.4 TVR. Udne Ki Aasha, the Star Plus show, has fought its way to the top and secured ratings of 2.3 TVR, securing the second spot across all GECs along with Jhanak (Star Plus) which continues to be at the 2nd spot.
A surprise this week is the launch of Star Plus show Advocate Anjali Awasthi. The show, which has Shritama Mitra playing the female lead, had a huge launch, clocking a TVR launch of 2.2 TVR. It is ranked third along with fellow shows Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (Star Plus) and Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin (Star Plus).
Colors’ reality shows see Laughter Chefs moving ahead with a TVR of 1.8 followed by Fear Factor Khatron Ke Khiladi which clocks a TVR of 1.7. Zee TV’s Kundali Bhagya sees a rise with 1.7 TVR. Zee TV’s Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gaye sees a rise with 1.4 TVR. Star Plus’s Maati Se Bandhi Dor and Dil Ko Tumse Pyaar Hua see another rise with 1.3 TVR and 1.0 TVR respectively.
Colors’ new show Megha Barsenge has an opening TVR of 0.9 TVR. Colors’ Mishri has a TVR of 1.3 TVR.
