Author Kuwahali’s comment: “Thank you for all the votes!! Girl meets skirt! was originally a manga drawn by a hobbyist who couldn’t draw well, but it has gained such great support from many readers, and I truly believe this is thanks to the incredible work of the artist Ideuchi-sensei! I’m so grateful!! There are still so many things I want to draw, so I hope you will continue to follow this manga in the future!!”

Illustrator Tetsuo Ideuchi’s comment: “I’m so happy to win first place!!! Thank you so much!!! When I got the offer to do the drawings and read the story, I had a strong feeling that it was so interesting that it would definitely be serialized. And now that it’s become a series and has received so much support from everyone, it’s a great honor to win this award. The manga is only on volume two and Hatono’s story is just beginning, so I hope you continue to be excited about what’s next. I will continue to do my best as an artist to bring Kuwahali-san’s story to life for all of you!”
