If you’ve ever attended a concert, rodeo or sporting event at the Ford Wyoming Center in the past, you know how difficult it is to get phone reception. While Wi-Fi was always available, it wasn’t strong enough to serve many people. This caused problems when guests tried to upload pictures or update social media pages. It was also a problem for vendors who wanted to accept payments or needed Wi-Fi for their exhibits.

Slow WiFi will no longer be a problem.

Mountain West Technologies has just installed a state-of-the-art, high-speed internet system. The system is designed to accommodate up to 6,000 people logging on at once, making it much easier to update scores from sporting events, upload pictures, and keep the kids busy when they’re bored.

That’s pretty cool, but that’s not the only thing that’s been happening at the Ford Wyoming Center lately.

The Casper Chamber of Commerce, FWC and MWT just held a grand opening of the new Speedgoat Entrance and Fast Lane, which allows guests to enter the event they are attending without baggage and get to their seats without waiting in line.

It is exciting to see the great growth at Events Drive and the future looks bright with all that is going to happen in the next few years.
