Who is Sunil Kumar?

Sunil Kumar was born on December 16, 1990 and grew up in Jammu. He is a huge wrestler and is often called “The Great Khali of Jammu”. Apart from wrestling, he also works as a police officer in the Jammu and Kashmir Police. Yes, he is 7 feet tall. In an interview, Sunil Kumar revealed that his father had passed away before the release of the film.

Director Amar Kaushik mentioned in an interview that the casting team specifically looked for someone of Sunil Kumar’s height to give the character authenticity and a certain level of fear. “The casting team found him. We wanted a man of that height and he fit our requirements,” said Kaushik.

He added:

“Even the audience will believe that Sunil Kumar, with his impressive height of 7 feet 2 inches, is the perfect choice for the role.”

There are rumours that he will be a part of Bigg Boss 18 in the future. When asked about his plans, whether in films or reality shows, Sunil revealed:

“I just got a call from Bigg Boss. They say it’s for Bigg Boss in October.”

His excitement was evident, but he also mentioned the challenges he faced in managing his time. He added:

“I am currently thinking of joining Bigg Boss but since I am in the police force, getting leave can be a bit difficult. I have to apply for leave but our police sports officers are very supportive. They help me get leave for films, advertisements or wrestling events and they never reject my leave requests.”

His dedication to his police duties remains a major factor in his decision-making process. However, he did not give any confirmation about his participation in Bigg Boss. However, his fans are much more excited to see his persona in a reality TV show.

Praneet Samaiya called the film phenomenal and wrote in his review, “Stree 2 is a perfect blend of humor and horror. Director Amar Kaushik has just delivered the biggest film of his life so far. The best part is how excellent the associated films from the horror universe are. Amar Kaushik is a brilliant director, he knows how to make films that make you laugh and even scare you. The narrative keeps you entertained throughout.” He gave the film 4.5 stars.

Stree 2 has collected Rs 434.10 crore nett in India in 13 days. Stree 2 is already in the list of top 10 highest grossing Hindi films of India of all time in terms of revenue. During its entire run, the film will cross the Rs 500 crore mark at the box office.
