Members of the Zeta Delta Omega chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. and other organizations attended AKA’s 2024 Teen Summit event Saturday, which educated youth from several counties and Concordia Parish on a variety of topics including career and professionalism, mental health and suicide prevention, anti-bullying and conflict resolution, vaping and tobacco, and social media. Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. and members of the Divine 9 Greek organizations across Miss Lou hosted the 2024 Teen Summit at Natchez High School on Saturday, educating teens from across Miss Lou about careers and professionalism, mental health and suicide prevention, bullying prevention and conflict resolution, vaping and tobacco, and social media.
The event attracted hundreds of participants from Natchez, Vidalia, Ferriday and other areas. This year’s theme was “Empowering Knowledge for Your Future.”
