CU Boulder student dies in off-campus apartment – ​​Boulder Daily Camera

A University of Colorado Boulder student named Jeremiah Park died Friday in an apartment on University Hill.

Boulder police responded to the death at an apartment complex in the 1100 block of Pleasant Street at 4:42 p.m., according to Boulder police spokeswoman Dionne Waugh.

Waugh said Park died at the scene of the accident and the Boulder County Coroner’s Office responded shortly afterward.

The Boulder County Coroner will determine the cause and manner of death.

“Subject to this information, investigators do not currently believe there was any foul play,” Waugh said.

CU police spokeswoman Christine Mahoney said the CU Boulder Office of Counseling and Mental Health and other CU Boulder Division of Student Affairs staff are in contact with family members and other CU members affected by this tragic loss.

“It is with deep sadness that the CU Boulder community confirms the death of CU Boulder student Jeremiah Park. The junior-to-be was found dead off campus late Friday afternoon,” said CU police spokeswoman Christine Mahoney.

Mahoney encouraged affected students, friends and community members to use CAPS, the CU Victim Assistance Office and other resources on campus.
