ShackStream: The Stevetendo Show! Episode 493

Dragon Quest XI continues on the Stevetendo Show!

Tonight on the Stevetendo Show, we return to our Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age playthrough. I find myself really getting into the story of Dragon Quest XI during our playthrough. During the last Dragon Quest XI episode, we headed to Octagonia for the big martial arts tournament that was going on there. We actually won the tournament and were supposed to get the Rain Branch as the grand prize, but something isn’t right in town.

People have been disappearing and Jade, the girl we fought in the finale, is nowhere to be found. We’ve made our way to the orphanage in town and there’s a giant hole that leads to a cave and the next dungeon to explore. What will we find in the cave beneath Octagonia? The live broadcast is scheduled for 5pm PT/8pm ET. Check out the Stevetendo Show for more on our Dragon Quest XI playthrough.

Shackers who want to join in on the fun can visit the Shacknews Twitch channel where they can tune in to the Stevetendo Show every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

If you can’t make it to the show tonight, you can watch Wednesday night at 5pm PT/8pm ET. The plan is for a brand new game to fill the spot previously occupied by Jet Force Gemini. That being said, we’ll also be continuing with The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, and if it goes like this, we might need another new game.

It’s always a great day when you wake up to a Nintendo Direct. This time was a little different as Nintendo decided to combine its Indie World presentation with a Direct Partner presentation. I’m not a morning person, but Nintendo makes me wake up early. The two presentations featured some interesting announcements and there are games I’m keeping an eye on for the Stevetendo Show. Be sure to tune into the show tonight to hear my thoughts on the presentations.

Keep thinking of new games you’d like to see featured on the Stevetendo Show. If it’s on the Nintendo Switch or Nintendo Switch Online service, there’s a great chance it will be played on the program. You never know when Nintendo will add something to the Nintendo Switch Online service, so stay tuned.
