Rihanna reveals natural skin texture and pores in makeup-free photos
Celebrity skincare products can seem like an underground vampire ring, a cult of sorts, a shiny facade of the beauty industry. And now that the market is flooded with so many top brands, it can be difficult to know which ones work and which ones, well, don’t. One brand we can definitely vouch for, however, is Fenty Skin—and Rihanna’s recent social media post proves exactly why.
In an Instagram post that we shared over the weekend, RiRi gave us five new photos to swoon over. And without makeup at that! Spoilt for choice, some might say.
In the carousel, the singer urges us all to use sunscreen while also giving us a glimpse of her natural skin texture. “Here’s your reminder to put sunscreen on baby!” she writes in the caption of her post.
I’ve never seen a brighter, fresher, healthier complexion, but hey, we’re talking about Rihanna, so are we surprised?
Although the mother of two wears a touch of mascara, lip gloss and eyebrows, her base appears to be made entirely of makeup. And filter–free of charge. With the latter, Ri shows her pores in all their natural glory and shows us what a normal skin texture looks like in real life. Goodbye bold glamour, soft focus filter!
