A fatal motorcycle crash in the Bronx on Sunday left one man dead and two others seriously injured, including a three-year-old girl, police said.
The collision between a Lexus sedan and a Suzuki GSX-S 1000 motorcycle occurred on Pelham Parkway around 2:50 p.m.
The motorcyclist, an unidentified man with a passenger, was traveling westbound on Pelham Parkway when he collided with a 2023 Lexus IS 350 traveling eastbound on Pelham Parkway. The Lexus was turning left to enter the southbound I-95 on-ramp when the collision occurred.
The driver of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS. Meanwhile, EMS transported his unidentified passenger to NYC Health and Hospitals/Jacobi in critical condition.
A 40-year-old man driving the Lexus was not injured, police said. However, EMS transported a 39-year-old female passenger to NYC Health and Hospitals/Jacobi in stable condition, and EMS transported a 3-year-old girl to NYC Health and Hospitals/Jacobi in critical condition.
The investigation is still ongoing.
