Attention adults: Happy Meals aren’t just for kids anymore. McDonald’s is taking you back to your childhood by bringing back limited edition collectible cups inspired by the cups you may have received as kids’ meals.

The Happy Meal for adults, formerly known as the Collector’s Meal, launched at McDonald’s across the U.S. on Tuesday. When you order the meal, you can receive one of six unique cups.

When will McDonald’s Collector’s Meals be available?

McDonald’s Collector’s Meals and the six collector’s cups have been available in participating U.S. locations since Tuesday, August 13. They are available online, in stores and at the drive-thru.

What do the McDonald’s collector cups look like?

Numerous brands such as Coca-Cola, Mattel, Universal Sanrio and TY Beanie Babies serve as inspiration for the cups.

The cup designs include:

  • McDonald’s
  • Coca-Cola
  • Hello Kitty and Peanuts
  • Beanie Babies
  • Barbie and Hot Wheels
  • Shrek, Jurassic Park and Minions

What is included in the McDonald’s Collector’s Meal?

If you happen to come to McDonald’s during breakfast hours, you can get your Collector’s Meal with Sausage McMuffin, Hash Brown and a hot coffee.

A Collector’s Meal ordered at lunchtime offers more choices, as customers can choose between 10 McNuggets or a Big Mac, plus fries and a drink. The McNuggets meal costs $11.79 in Iowa and the Big Mac costs $11.89.

The Collector’s Meal will be available throughout the day, meaning “you can expand your collection whenever you feel like it,” McDonald’s said.

Where can I find a McDonald’s collectible cup in Des Moines?

Most McDonald’s locations in the Des Moines metropolitan area should offer the Collector’s Meal, which offers a limited-edition cup with every purchase. The number of cups may vary by location.
