Streaming media company Plex has announced that A+E Networks EMEA, a joint venture between Hearst and Sky in the UK, will soon offer five FAST channels for streaming on Plex in the UK.

A+E Networks’ EMEA content on Plex includes popular shows and series from the UK and the US that tell exciting stories from history, true crime, mystery and World War. The newly launched channels are Inside Crime, History Hunters, World War TV, Mystery TVAnd Deal master.

Today, Plex combines free ad-supported TV with ad-supported video on demand (“AVOD”), reaching over 22 million monthly active users worldwide. Plex offers the industry’s most widely distributed ad-supported video on demand and live TV offering in over 180 countries. As an emerging leader in FAST and AVOD, the company recently announced that it has the world’s most extensive FAST channel offering, including over 800 free channels streaming in the U.S. alone. Upon launch, these channels will be easily accessible to T-Mobile customers.

Plex, an independent streaming media company, has partnered with A+E EMEA to offer its content in the US since 2020. Plex’s other content partners include Lionsgate, New Regency, Banijay Rights, Fremantle Trinity Creative, Kaleidoscope Films and Signature Ent.
