Shilpa Shetty recently got annoyed with a paparazzo who tried to film her Independence Day flag hoisting ceremony at home. The actress, who was gearing up for the national flag hoisting ceremony on August 15, 2024, noticed she was being filmed. In the video, she warned the cameraman not to shoot the video improperly. Shilpa Shetty reprimands paparazzo

As Shilpa and her sister Shamita Shetty were waiting to start the ceremony, Shilpa noticed a paparazzo recording the video. Shilpa went up to him and asked him to record it properly. She said, “Please brother, iske saath mazaak mat kariye, usko sahi se dikhaiye. Please band kariye aap (Please brother, don’t make a joke out of it. Show this properly or switch it off).” The paparazzo was heard saying, “Thank you very much, ma’am.”

Shilpa Shetty was trolled on Independence Day 2023

The actress requested privacy as she was trolled last year 2023 on Independence Day for hoisting the national flag wearing shoes. Shilpa responded on her Instagram handle and wrote, “I know the ‘rules of conduct’ while hoisting the flag, RESPECT for my country and THE FLAG comes from the heart and is not up for debate. I am a proud Indian. Today’s post was to share and celebrate that sentiment. To all the trollers (who I usually ignore), I DO NOT APPRECIATE YOU flaunting your ignorance and spreading negativity on this day. So get your facts in order and PLEASE STAND BACK (folded hands emoji).”

She showed a Google search query on the topic “Can we hoist the Indian flag with shoes?” The answer to the question was, “The Indian Flag Code does not prohibit hoisting the national flag with shoes.”
