What we know so far about Pokémon GO Max

Pokémon GO: Max Out has been announced. Here’s what we know so far about the next season.

Pokémon GO has continued to build a large community, appealing to casual players who want to hang out and battle with friends, collectors who want to find rare Pokémon, and competitors who are taking the mobile game to the international stage at Worlds.

Now a new season is upon us and it brings with it exciting changes to keep the coaches on board.

Max Out begins on September 3, 2024. It starts at 10 a.m. local time.

Max Out runs until December 3, meaning Trainers have three months to grind, collect, and battle in the Galar region.

The focus of Max Out is the Galar region. This means a focus on the 112 Pokémon of this generation. These include the starter Pokémon:

Another confirmed addition is Morpeko. This Pokémon will have both Full Belly and Hangry modes, making it the first Pokémon in GO that can change form mid-battle with a move. Expect more debuts in Max Out, as many Pokémon from this region haven’t made it to GO yet.

It has been announced that Legendaries Zacian and Zamazenta will be returning. They were last in GO in 2022. However, not much is known about their return, including forms and special moves. Will they also appear as Shinies?

For now, trainers will have to wait for more confirmed information about Pokémon GO Max Out.
