The professional dancer is mother of daughters Weslie (15) and Zaia (3) and son Maddox (7)

Allison Holker and her children have found a new way to connect.

On Tuesday, the 36-year-old professional dancer appeared at The Jennifer Hudson Show and talked about her return to the studio where her late husband Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss spent so much time, Ellen DeGeneres show.

“This place is like home. When I walk in here, all these memories of my daughter come to mind,” Holker began. “My oldest, she’s 15, came here every day after school and did her homework, everyone fed her, and it was so wonderful.”

“She’s had a very different experience than the two children, hasn’t she? But it’s such a wonderful place that’s really close to my heart. So it’s a lot to be here, but it’s a beautiful feeling.”

Later in her conversation with host Jennifer Hudson, Holker said her family of four finds connection through dance.

“Oh man, dancing with my kids. It was so much fun. They are so cute. Yesterday we played Just dance. But it’s fun to connect through dance and express all those emotions together,” said the proud mother.

“We have observed Trolls together on TV recently and we just got up and started dancing together. And they jumped off the couches, off the coffee table. And there was just so much freedom and I could just feel that they still have so much lightness in them. And I was really grateful to see that.”

Holker has three children – daughters Weslie, 15, and Zaia, 3, and son Maddox, 7 – with her late husband Boss, who committed suicide in December 2022 at the age of 40.

In December, Weslie honored her late father on the one anniversary of his death by sharing a post on her Instagram.

“It’s been a year of missing you, but not a day goes by that I don’t think about what you gave to the world. Your love, guidance and wisdom continue to inspire me. I miss warm hugs, your wisdom and the sound of your voice,” she wrote.

“Although the pain of your absence remains, I find serenity in the beautiful memories we shared. You were my father, my superhero, my best friend and my biggest advocate. Your love and support have made me the person I am today,” the teenager continued.

“I carry you in my heart and hope to make you proud. Thank you for the precious life we ​​had together and for the unconditional love you gave me. I will cherish your name forever. 12/13/22.”
